A Pair of English Oak Hall Chairs

A pair of oak Regency Hall Chairs, the scrolling shield back having the flavour of the Raj with an unpainted central oval recessed tablet, above a waisted lower back rounded seat, raised on elegant ring-turned legs and sabred back legs, having an interesting contrasting patina, one darker than the other, suggesting having stood in different locations throughout their 200 years.
