Apsley House doors

These doors came from Apsley House (No.1 London) and have aged beautifully in storage since being removed by the Bathhurst family, who originally owned the house, to the barns of the Bathhurst estate. They are from the Robert Adam interior of the house, which was somewhat transformed in the early 19th Century by Matthew Digby Wyatt for the Duke of Wellington, they are a rare example of the previous neo-classical decorative scheme.
