A remarkable Anglo-Indian mechanical centre table, the octagonal top with all over relief carving of scrolling vines and flowers lifting off to reveal the most amazing of dismantling mechanisms in steel, each of the eight numbered apron segments lifting out to allow the base to fold, and each of the 8 turned legs decorated with carved lotus leaves, probably teak, India, Rajasthan c.1850, all in totally untouched perfect original condition.
