For the last 30 years Christopher HOWE has forged very special working relationships with extraordinarily skilled English craftsmen in the production of our bespoke range of furniture, lighting and ironwork. In the past, inspiration was drawn from C18th & C19th originals, yet now we choose to create from the start, armed inevitably with such priceless knowledge and experience of both historical design and also the craft and construction techniques not commonly taught in todays world of manufacture. Clients, both professionals and private, may initiate and become involved in the design and finishing of a bespoke piece.
Howe has a large international client list and we regularly arrange shipment on behalf of our overseas clients. If you have a query about shipping we are always happy to advise and can provide quotations for this service on request.
HOWE at 36 Bourne Street provides traditionally tanned and dyed leathers, alongside a truly unique range of new and vintage textiles, trimmings and wallpapers, characterised by their uncompromising and homespun quality, produced by old family mills and factories here in Britain.
