CONTENT MARKETING EDITOR

We are looking for a Content Marketing Editor with a strong (practical) aesthetic and creative ability to create, edit and publish weekly written and visual content across our social media platforms and website. The main focus of this role will be to develop and maintain a strong and clear brand identity, with the aim to increase our popularity and exposure while remaining true to our core values and unique style. Other responsibilities will include creating written content for our website from blog posts to product descriptions with the aim to improve our SEO as well as leading email campaigns and newsletters.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

– Maintaining and developing a strong brand identity and story across our marketing platforms
– Creating dynamic and engaging social media content
– Writing interesting and engaging copy to promote our products and services, capturing our tone and style (website/Instagram/Press Releases etc.)
– Maintaining website content so that the homepage imagery and other key information is current and engaging
– Increasing website traffic and improving SEO
– Analysing the real value of all marketing and press ventures and evolving the strategy accordingly
– Designing and making professional marketing materials such as event invitations and newsletters
– Keeping abreast of all press relating to Howe as well as relevant industry news
– Responding to Press loans and enquiries
– Managing and organising our press library

 

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

– Excellent understanding of social media platforms
– Strong visual aesthetic with experience in design and layout
– Previous marketing experience is desirable
– Good understanding of Google analytics and SEO
– Excellent knowledge of Photoshop (InDesign is desirable)
– Strong interest and appreciation of the industry

 

PERSON SPECIFICATION

– You have a natural ability and eye for formatting, colour and design
– You have excellent written and spoken communication skills with a very strong attention to detail and a flair for creative writing
– You have a proven track record of successfully completing tasks to a high standard
– You enjoy working in a team
– You are organised and work methodically but are comfortable working under pressure and unflappable in the face of unforeseen priorities
– You are a multi-tasker and have experience in a busy workplace
– You have excellent IT skills
– You are personable, organised and proactive
