1930s Glass Stepped Column Table Lamp
A 1930s glass stepped column table lamp, of extraordinary quality, incorporating a cluster of eight solid glass rods, passing through a lower cylinder of clear glass within an engineered steel structure. This appears to be a one-off handmade piece, made in the first quarter of the 20th Century in England, experimenting with a modernist reinvention of Classical column using very typically Art Deco stylisation.
