1950s ‘Tola’ Sideboard designed by Donald Gomme for G Plan
An original 1950s sideboard designed by Donald Gomme for G Plan as part of the ‘Tola’ range. In tola wood (African mahogany) and ebonised teak, the two doors opening to reveal shelves above two ebonised and usefully compartmentalised drawers, retaining original brass pull handles and brass lunar pad feet. In good original vintage condition, just a little age related wear as pictured and one horizontal scratch to one door. Gold debossed manufacturers stamp to the inside. England, circa 1958
