A Late Regency Mahogany Hall Chair Attributed to Gillows
A characterful and handsome late Regency mahogany hall chair attributed to Gillows, the stylised shield back with curved top rail and waisted back accentuated by boldly carved and moulded ‘C’ scrolls, over a plain seat fronted by a reeded rail, raised on boldly turned and reeded tapered front legs and bulbous faceted ball feet with plain out-swept legs to the back.
