1940s Esavian ‘Masters Armchairs’ Designed By James Leonard
A very near pair of classic ‘Masters Armchairs’ (model 6509) designed by James Leonard for Esavian, the trading brand name for the Educational Supply Association Ltd, the leading UK supplier of school furniture in post-War Britain. The cast aluminium frames, with solid laminated beech arms, retain the original synthetic leather upholstery and restored foam squab cushion, one dark green and the other dark teal. In exceptional condition.
