A Small C19th Rococo Mirror
A sweet little early 19th Century giltwood mirror in the Rococo style, the rectangular plate set within an ornately carved frame of ‘C’ scrolls, foliage and flower heads, the pediment having a traditional shell motif, backed on a single wooden panel, stamped J.E Anderson and retaining some pencil inscription. In good condition, with some areas of chips and loss to the frame, ready to hang with a small brass ring. France, circa 1850
