Art Nouveau Vaseline Glass Hall Lantern

An exceptional Art Nouveau wrought iron hanging hall lantern in the manner of W.A.S Benson, the tapering opalescent vaseline glass shade having a beautiful textured diamond pattern, supported by a hoop and naturalistic scrolling supports, the central stem further embellished with scrolling leaves and flowers in the Art Nouveau manner. All in superb original condition, fitted with electricity with single candle bulb holder. English, circa 1890
