C19th Regency Console Table

A handsome 19th Century Regency mahogany console table, the rectangular top supporting a low panelled up-stand, above a plain frieze and raised on bold front legs of exaggerated scrolled form, each with an ogee moulded front, a hand carved stylised lotus leaf at the knee and panelled sides with simple carved brackets at the top, terminating in scrolled feet resting on mahogany ‘cushion’ pads, the back two legs being straight with panelled fronts with conforming feet.
