Early C20th Alabaster Plafonnier

A superb, warm-toned alabaster plafonnier of good large scale, the dish set within a nickel rope twist band embellished with fine wire-work scrolls punctuated with tiny balls, having four cast scrolls suspended by four original decorative link chains united at the top with a brass ball and ring. In very good original condition, retaining all the original fittings, the dish having no cracks, really one of the most beautiful I’ve owned. French, circa 1910
