Early C20th Century Oushak

An early 20th Century Oushak with a lovely rich red ground and bold angular decoration, the field dominated by a central loose medallion incorporating a quatrefoil of stylised crossed palmettes, set between two medallions shaped from dragon motifs in striking powder blue each enclosing a saffron outlined medallion centred by a red cross, the whole framed by a charming border of alternating stylised birds and flowers. In excellent clean condition.
