George III Mahogany Hall Chair

An exceptionally charming and elegant George III mahogany hall chair, the the waisted panelled back with beautifully carved fan or ‘sunburst’ top rail above a finely painted heraldic crest depicting a white cat, the round mahogany seat with moulded edge above a rail with roundel decoration, on two tapering ring turned front legs and lovely out-swept legs to the back, all in superb original condition.
