A small hand knotted wool Kurdish rug, the field with an all-over symmetrical design of multiple repeating ‘Boteh’ in a palette of reds, blues, greens, saffrons and burnt orange, interspersed with geometric dog and bird motifs, framed by two chevron borders enclosing a further border of meandering stylised flowers on a cream ground.
