Late C18th Bureau Bookcase

A George III mahogany bureau bookcase, the moulded and dentilled cornice above a pair of astragal-glazed doors with a pretty honeycomb design, enclosing two adjustable shelves and three small drawers, the bureau fall revealing a series of pigeon holes and drawers all retaining their original handles, over four graduated long drawers with brass swan neck drop handles, finished at the base with bracket feet. The overall even colour and figuring being particularly pleasing. English, circa 1780
