A 17th Century oak joint stool, the beautifully worn rectangular top revealing clout-nails and sections of a finished moulded edge, above a simple moulded frieze, raised on turned legs braced by peripheral stretchers. In wonderful untouched original condition with some signs of historic worm now treated. English, circa 1650
