Pair of C20th Dutch Delft Vases

A wonderful pair of octagonal Dutch Delft vases in the 17th Century Japanese ‘Imari’ style, having a traditional Jardinière design of figures in a sprawling landscape of waterfalls, trees and chrysanthemums, framed within two horizontal yellow borders. Hand painted in a vibrant palette of iron red, Imari blue and green, retaining a gilt finish. Marked initials to the base. In very good condition.
