Pretty Gilt Victorian Side Chair

A very pretty Victorian gilt side chair, having a curved top rail each end carved with scrolling foliate decoration above a spindle turned back rest, raised on slightly sabred turned legs with spindle stretchers, in fantastic original condition retaining the beautiful original gilt finish, the seat having been traditionally reupholstered and left in calico ready to be covered in your chosen fabric. English, circa 1880.
