A pair of Howe salon chairs covered in Scottish Beetled Linen ‘Graphite’ from Howe at 36 Bourne St, deep buttoned with marigold tassel tufts, each with a contrasting leather handhold.
A classic yet exciting English design from the 18th Century when the French ‘Salon Style’ was prevalent. Traditionally upholstered with hand stitched horsehair and individually tied sprung seat, on a hand made beech frame and oak legs with Howe cup castors on the front legs, in a patinated bronzed finish.
