Available now, a large Made by Howe Gainsborough stool in a richly fumed, aged oak with a luxuriously soft but practically weighted feather and down cushion, covered in vintage hand dyed and sun faded damson waffle-woven linen, with tan suede float buttons and corners.

Stylistically very versatile, the Gainsborough Stool is so-named for it’s plain but precisely executed square legged base. Traditionally hand made in one of our specialist British workshops, faithfully adhering to 18th century methods, constructed in beech and oak raised on leather barrel castors.
