C18th KENTIAN GILTWOOD MIRROR

An original C18th mirror in the manner of William Kent, the original plate within a boldly carved giltwood frame having an arched broken pediment and running egg and dart surrounding a sanded ground decorated with corner roundels and a scrolling leafwork cresting centred by a crown and emerging eagle heads, refreshed but otherwise in wonderful original condition and bearing an original (C19th) restorers label to the rear probably postdating the year of manufacture by 100 years, from the West of England, circa 1735.
