19th Century French Easy Chair

A wonderfully worn and sculptural 19th Century French easy chair, the scrolled headrest above a deep and wide seat with swept open arms, all stuffed and stitched in horse hair and covered in a worn pile carpet ready to be reupholstered, recovered or even left partially as is with some refurbishment incorporating some of the original carpet. The ebonised turned front and swept back legs are in perfect order retaining the original castors. French, circa 1860
