A Regency Brass-Mounted and Ebonised Tripod Table
A fine and elegant Regency occasional tripod table, the black japanned rectangular top with canted corners having a Chinoiserie scene within a finely chased gilt-brass moulded edge, supported on a slender turned and ebonised stem centred with a simple ring of brass beading, raised on down-swept legs decorated with anthemion, floral rosettes and acanthus leaf chased mounts and finished with brass ball feet.
