Bombay Button Table – Elm
Presenting a unique collection of Howe Home Button Tables, one in each of a selection of exceptional timbers, to celebrate the grain, colour and character. The underside revealing an extra special Royal Ebony wedged tenon and mortice joint.
This one available now in pale Elm; characterful and endlessly versatile.
The Howe Home ‘Bombay Button’ is a perfectly sized little side table for anywhere and everywhere, taken from an original Art Deco design, discovered in an apartment on Marine Drive, South Mumbai, India, when wealthy parsis made the Art Deco style popular in the 1930’s.
Hand made from solid well seasoned timbers by the last of a generation of truly traditional wood turners on an extraordinarily old lathe, this table is also available now in Natural, Ebonised & Dark Oak as well as a lacquered finish in a range of colours.
Made in England and available now as part of our Howe Home collection; the essentials, ready to go, no compromise to quality, no less a commitment to traditional craftsmanship, only more efficient production techniques.
Craftsmanship and quality is absolutely central to everything we do at Howe London and we are passionate about promoting and preserving traditional skills.
