C19th Fire-Gilt Steel Fire Tools

A most wonderfully opulent set of very good quality 19th Century fire-gilt steel Fire Tools, the set comprised of a poker, tongs and a shaped shovel, the handles with reeded urn finials above a lobed and fluted stem, the tongs having heavily Baroque scrolling leaves and central flower pivot. French circa 1880.
