Demi-Lune Console Table

A fine Hepplewhite period demi-lune satinwood console table, the top centred by an oval green dyed sycamore panel inlaid with holly marquetry of a vase and cover with billowing foliage and stemmed flowers, the edge with Kingwood cross-banding, above a frieze centred with an inlaid stylised flower head roundel flanked by swags and tails of husking, raised on tapered legs with each face outlined with delicate inlaid boxwood stringing, raised on elegant spade feet. Retaining a label to the underside ‘Property of Asprey Holdings Ltd’.
