George II Elbow Chair

A George II elbow chair of interesting small scale, retaining a charming needlework covered drop in seat. The scrolled crest rail meeting a plain splat back. The arms beautifully scrolled, showing steady wear consistent with age, and the arm supports are elegantly moulded, standing on cabriole legs with stylised pad feet united by a spindle turned H-stretcher. English, circa 1750
