A set of gilded faux-bamboo Aesthetic Movement hanging shelves decorated with chinoiserie scenes of exotic birds in foliage, the palette of blue, green and brown and flashes of bright red, making clever use of the bird’s eye maple timber as a background, the upper tier of oriental lattice within a pagoda shaped faux-bamboo frame, all in exceptional original condition, English circa 1880
