Mid C20th Wall Hanging

A beautiful example of a mid 20th Century Swedish rölakan flatweave Kilim rug sampler or wall tapestry, woven in soft wool featuring a typically Scandinavian geometric motif of stylised flowers, in a soft palette of purple, grey, blue and green, each edge finished with tassels. In very good unsigned original condition, with later linen backing for hanging. Swedish, circa 1960
