Mid Century Scoubidou Armchair
A fabulously preserved mid century Leon style armchair, the wrought iron tubular frame with tapered back wrapped in vertical yellow scoubidou threads, over a seat with threads running horizontally and crossed in the centre, flanked by wide arms wrapped in a conforming manner, raised on tapered slender front legs and splayed back legs, finished with tiny ball feet. Italian (bought in Sicily) circa 1950
