Rare Late C19th Persian Lantern

A rare and beautiful 19th Century Persian Hanging Copper Candle Lantern, the silvered copper having intricately engraved scrolling paisley and foliate motifs, and decorative piercing creating the most beautiful light reflections when lit. The top having a lovely tactile hand worked handle with hooked arrow ends, the red concertina linen body possibly replaced at a later date and in remarkably perfect condition. This is an exquisite object to just hang and add atmosphere to the right room.
