Regency Library Desk Chair
An exceptionally smart Regency desk chair in the greek revival style in the manner of Marsh and Tatham, having a lovely swept back over a traditionally reupholstered hand-stitched horsehair buttoned squab cushion, covered in wonderfully faded soft antique red cotton velvet, the open arms with turned ebonised front supports, raised on ebonised turned front and swept back legs retaining original lobed brass collars and castors, the back and arms covered in a silk and linen red stripe.
