Set of Eight C18th Chippendale Period Dining Chairs

A very fine and handsome set of eight 18th Century Chippendale period mahogany dining chairs, each with a slim square top rail, above a intricately fretted splat back in the Gothic style, set between finely carved uprights with the slightest outwards curve, the broad seats newly reupholstered using traditional methods and natural materials and covered in a black/brown natural horsehair linen mix from John Boyd, finished with hand sewn leather buttons, raised on plain front and out-swept back legs, all united by plain stretchers.
