Set of Six George II Walnut Dining Chairs

A fabulous set of six George II walnut dining chairs being striking for their narrow frames and the simple yet well thought out craftsmanship, each with a baluster shaped splat-back below a gently downward curved top rail and set between softly out-swept stiles, over a drop-in seat set into a simple frame with moulded top edge, raised on straight front legs with caddy moulding to the outer edge and chamfered on the inside, with splayed back legs, united by stretchers.
