A Famille Verte Kangxi porcelain Dish
An early 18th Century Famille Verte Kangxi porcelain circular dish, the shallow lobed rim painted yellow above a copper red and green repeat leaf motif, framing a traditional floral scene of red Chrysanthemums and peonies in a vibrant underglaze, the exterior having a conforming with green foliage amongst splashes of cobalt blue. In very good original condition. China, circa 1700
Purchased in 1980 from the contents sale of Gunton Park, formerly the home of the Harbord family.
