An Early C19th Palmer Type Candle Lamp
A rare example of Regency Palmer Patent candle lamp, the black enamel stem decorated with a stylised leaf design in deep red and cream rising from gilded lotus leaves on an octagonal base, in fire gilt-bronze, the cast iron insert stamped ‘R B’ to the base. Complete with original candle tube and glass shade. England, circa 1820
