Bombay Button Table – Ebonised Oak

The Bombay Button is a perfectly sized little side table taken from an original Art Deco design, discovered in an apartment on Marine Drive, South Mumbai, India, when wealthy parsis made the Art Deco style popular in the 1930’s.

Hand made from solid well seasoned indigenous timbers by the last of a generation of truly traditional wood turners on an extraordinarily old lathe, this table all in oak with ebony finish.

These are currently a limited special run, some of which feature gorgeous medullary rays for a unique top surface. Also available now in Natural & Dark Oak as well as a lacquered finish in a range of colours.
