C18th Swedish Marriage Chair
A rare and beautiful black Swedish marriage chair from the the old danish region Scania in the South of Sweden. Based on a traditional Dutch design, the chair is an fascinating and unique piece of social history, carved ‘1781’ and painted with floral folk motifs.
