A tall quintessentially French 19th Century bar stool, the comfortable high open back having having three wooden splats, over a caned seat standing on two decoratively turned front legs and two square plain back braced by a curved rail and a turned foot rest front rail, in good strong condition, and of a particularly good colour, the re-caning having replaced a later upholstered seat, to bring it back to the original design. French, circa 1880.
