Louis XIV Walnut Buffet

A Louis XIV walnut buffet cupboard with a pair of lift off doors with moulded frames and a striking arrangement of geometric moulded panels centred by a Fleur de Lys, revealing an interior of three shelves, the sides relatively simple being of two panels, finished at the base with a charming shaped apron, raised on straight front legs with shaping to the inner edge and plain back legs. All in wonderful untouched condition, retaining the original fittings, the interior shelves bearing some historic (treated) worm holes. French, circa 1700
