Mid C20th Swedish Carpet Signed KLH & KB

A large mid 20th Century Swedish flossa, a thick knotted pile rug, of exceptional quality, woven from the highest quality soft Swedish wool, in an earthy palette of browns, creams and yellow, having an interesting diamond design in two shades of yellow and brown with a central yellow field with a larger diamond motif, in good clean original condition. Signed to the reverse ‘KLH’ for Kristianstads Läns Hemslöjd, the maker’s initial’s slightly obscured, possibly ‘KB’ for Kerstin Bergman or Kerstin Butler. Circa, 1960.
