A pair of George III mahogany hall chairs of unusual geometric design, each with a rectangular back with canted corners centred by an oval panel, over a plain seat and raised on a straight front panel and splayed back panel terminating in bracket feet. In lovely original and sturdy condition. English, circa 1770
