A rare pair of particularly petite Napoleon III pull up chairs with gilt frames. These could be really useful and good fun recovered and used as extra chairs in a large drawing room to provide contract of scale. The design allows you to sit in the opposite direction with the backs providing support to rest your arms while reading. French, circa 1870
