Pointer Chair-Settee

The Pointer corner chair-come-settee has been designed with elegance, versatility and agility at its heart. Pointing one way you form a slim three seater sofa, an effortless spin turns a pair of these chairs into a deep seated cosy couch for two, but they’d be just as content sat solo in a quiet corner.

Traditionally Made by Howe in England using only the best materials; the beech frame has proper joints which won’t work loose, set on turned legs in a choice of mahogany, oak, or hand painted beech, on brass Howe cup castors. The webbed seat supports a series of hand-lashed springs, covered by hand stitched horsehair to create the elegant and defined body. The pocketed seat cushion is filled with maximum down, minimum feather content, for enduring comfort.

A matching stool is also available, proportioned to act as an extension – to create a chaise, a longer sofa or even a useful L shape.
