Available now, a super duper, enormous, XXXL, larger-than-life, campaign version of our Vaudeville Sofa in radiant burnt orange velvet.

You’ll need a super duper space to match, but at least access shouldn’t be a problem – Made in the tradition of British campaign furniture, a series of loose tenon joints and finger bolts allow the arms to be removed and the back to lift off, making it easily transportable and so it can glide through even the smallest of corridors and doors.

Generous and deep with a tall back, fine arms, and bolster dividers for comfort and to break up the expanse. The Giant Vaudeville Sofa is completely hand-crafted, utilising the strength of beech for the frame, with spoke shaved pitch pine arms on oak legs. The squab style seat cushion is stuffed with pocketed down and feather and is supported on a webbed platform that we have supplemented with short springs to add softness to the seat. Our frame maker pays every respect to the use of pegged ‘mortise & tenon’ joints and ‘dovetailed’ stretchers to achieve remarkable strength in such a slender, lightweight frame, true to the tradition 18th Century English furniture.
